Ques:- X, Y and Z can do a piece of work in 24 days, 30 days and 40 days respectively. They began the work together but Z left 4 days before the completion of the work. In how many days was the work completed?

1/24+1/30+1/40=1/10 => 10 days
4/10 = 0.4
1/(24*0.4)+1/(30*0.4) = 0.1875 => 5.33

(10-4) + 5.33 = 11.3 days

25% discount = 75x -> SP
Profit% = (Profit/CP)x100
125 = (75x/CP)x100
.: CP = 60x

Now if discount = 10%
SP = 90x
.: Profit% = ((90x-60x)/60x)x100 = 50%
