  1. 25 pencils = 100 , so each pencil is Rs 4/-
    15 books = 100, so each book is 100/15
Now, he has kept aside 15%, that is 15 Rs
    So, remaining is (5*4) + X * (100/15) + 15 = 100
    X * (100/15) = 100 – 15 -20, so,
    X = 65 * 15 / 100 = 39/4 ~ 9
    So, answer is none.

  2. he has rs100
    rs 100 buys 25 pencils @ rs 4 each
    rs 100 buys 15 books @ rs 6.66 each
    rs 100
    -15 = he keeps 15%
    -20 = he buys 5 pencils
    ——
    rs 65
    65 / 6.66 per book = 9 books = 59.94
he buys 9 books and has rs 5.06 change

  3. each pencil 100/25 = 4
    each book 100/15 = 6.66

    100 – 15 = 85

    85-5*4 = 65

    65/6.66 = 9
he can buy 9 books that is not in given options currently so
    answer is NONE
